Dancers
of all levels are invited to attend the Academy's newest hula class for adults, Hula
Le'a, starting Thursday, June 1st from 7-9pm.
Due to an overwhelming number of requests for a weeknight class that focuses less
on stage performances and more on hula for recreation, the Hula Le'a (meaning fun
or light-hearted) class was formed.
While some dance or hula
experience is likely necessary to keep up with the instruction by Kumu Hula
Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu, anyone interested is encouraged to attend and try
out the class. More information about this new class can be found at AHA's website.
